ι ακακίες (Αργεντινή - Ισπανία) είναι μια βαθιά ανθρώπινη ταινία δρόμου που μας παρουσιάζει τον Ρουμπέν, έναν οδηγό φορτηγού που αναλαμβάνει απρόθυμα να μεταφέρει από την Παραγουάη στο Μπουένος Άιρες την Τζασίντα και το μωρό της. Το ντεμπούτο του Μπάμπλο Τζιορτζέλι.
Όλα τα τυπικά χαρακτηριστικά του Road Movie είναι εδώ:Ένα όχημα, μια μεγάλη απόσταση, οι ατέλειωτοι δρόμοι και... δυόμισι συνταξιδιώτες εντελώς αταίριαστοι μεταξύ τους.
Ο πρωτοεμφανιζόμενος Πάμπλο Τζιορτζέλι επιστρατεύει μια μινιμαλιστική πλοκή και περιγράφει με αξιοζήλευτη λιτότητα τη σιωπηλή, αλλά συγκινητική εξέλιξη της σχέσης δύο "τραυματισμένων" χαρακτήρων, ταινία ημιτόνιων, για σινεφίλ, βραβευμένη με τη Χρυσή Κάμερα του Φεστιβάλ Κανών.
ΧΡΗΣΤΟΣ ΜΗΤΣΗΣ
Οι "Ακακίες" είναι ένα μικρό ανεξάρτητο διαμάντι του λατινοαμερικάνικου σινεμά που δεν θα σε ξελογιάσει με τους διαλόγους του καθώς περιέχει ελάχιστους αλλά ούτε με τα φαντεζί του κάδρα καθώς ως επί το πλείστο διαδραματίζεται μέσα στην καμπίνα μιας νταλίκας. Αντίθετα σε σκλαβώνει με την απλότητα που αιχμαλωτίζει στις εικόνες του τις μικρές καθημερινές στιγμές μεταξύ τριών ανθρώπων και σε προσκαλεί να βυθιστείς στην σιωπή και στα βλέμματά τους που συχνά υποδηλώνουν περισσότερα απ' ότι οι λέξεις.
Κεντρικός ήρωας είναι ο Ρουμπέν, ένας άνδρας που καθημερινά μεταφέρει ξυλεία με την νταλίκα του από την Παραγουάη προς το Μπουένος Άιρες. Μια μέρα συμφωνεί να πάρει μαζί του μια νεαρή γυναίκα που θέλει να περάσει στην Αργεντινή. Εκείνη όμως παρουσιάζεται με ένα μωρό πέντε μηνών στην αγκαλιά, κάτι που στον οδηγό κακοφαίνεται. Παρόλα αυτά το ταξίδι ξεκινάει, αλλά μια αμήχανη σιωπή διαρκείας βαραίνει τους ταξιδιώτες για ώρα. Η "αόρατη κάμερα" του Τζιορτζέλι τους παρακολουθεί
λεπτό προς λεπτό και όταν τελικά η αυθεντικά ακαταμάχητη γοητεία του μωρού γκρεμίζει το τείχος που υπάρχει ανάμεσά τους, είναι εκεί για να τους καταγράψει να αλλάζουν. Σταδιακά το road movie εξελίσσεται σε μια αφοπλιστική ιστορία αγάπης και η ταινία απογειώνεται από τις αβίαστες ερμηνείες των δύο ενήλικων πρωταγωνιστών και κυρίως απ' το πιο υπέροχο μωρό που έχει αποτυπωθεί τελευταία στο σελιλόιντ. Οι "Ακακίες" είναι ένα φιλμ βαθιά προσωπικό που κόβει την ανάσα και συγκινεί, μένοντας πάντα πιστό στην απέριττη φόρμα του. Μια φόρμα που μπορεί ανά στιγμές να απαιτεί την αυξημένη υπομονή του θεατή αλλά που σε τελική ανάλυση φροντίζει να τον ανταμείψει με πολλές μικρές στιγμές σινεφίλ απόλαυσης.
